Check AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) 01/2013 results

Appeared in AFCAT entrance exam conducted by Indian Air Force and want to know the results? IAF has successfully conducted Air Force Common Admission Test 01/2013 on 24th of February 2013 in all AFCAT centers in India. Read on to know about when AFCAT 01/2013 examination results will be announced and how to check whether you are shortlisted or not.

Indian Air Force is one of the best Air Forces in the world. Working as an officer in IAF is a matter of pride to all young Indian citizens. To become an officer in IAF, Air Force conducts AFCAT examination twice in a year. Shortlisted candidates will have to undergo five day SSB interview conducted by Air Force Selection Boards.

Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT 01/2013 exam notification was released by IAF in the month of December 2012. Through AFCAT exam, officer posts inn Flying, Technical and Administrative branches will be filled up by eligible candidates. IAF has invited online applications from candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria. Initially it was decided that online applications will be accepted from 10th of December 2012. But due to technical problems, IAF has started accepting online applications from 11th December 2012.


Indian Air Force has faced many problems with it's official website. However, on 24th of February 2013, AFCAT 01/2013 examination was conducted successfully by IAF.

Results of AFCAT 01/2013 may be available in 08 - 15 March 2013 Employment News Paper as indicated in the official announcement of IAF. Thus, all candidates who have appeared in AFCAT can check out the results in official website too. Till then you may go through AFCAT 01/2013 question paper and calculate probable score you may get.

If you have shortlisted by IAF in AFCAT 01/2013 examination, you need to select AFSB place and date online.

Update : AFCAT results may be declared before 22 March 2013.

Update as on 20 March 2013 : AFCAT results announced by IAF on 20 March 2013.

  6. there wudn't be any tension,if this result was the final for selection....but its not so....even after the declaration of the test...we wil have to wait until all the procedures are over....hence delaying this stage,the very beginning stage is really cruel....

      previous year cutoff is 140..and now it can be decreases or increased accordingly.
      If you are sure that ur 50 ans are correct then you will definetly called by ssb.

  18. My height is 5.10 and weight is 84, that is totaly bone weight which is more. i am total slim but still weight is excess. will this be any problem

  31. 16634 candidates have successfully cleared the AFCAT 1/2013. Out of these candidates only around 500 hundreds candidates after clearing medical test will be finally get into Air Force.

  36. I have entered all details in application form 2 and 3 for AFCAT 02/2013

    But I am not getting the 14 SSC course in the drop down menu in application form 4. Please help.
