Apply for Indian Navy Pilot and observer SSC officers posts - Recruitment notification for Dec 2013 course

Indian Navy has released the pilot/observer short service commissioned officers job recruitment notification today. 




Indian Navy has invited applications for short service commissioned officers jobs as pilots and observers today. Indian young generation looking for adventurous career may opt for Short Service Commissioned officers career. Apart from adventurous career, Indian Navy offers decent salaries, benefits and a disciplined lifestyle for its SSC officers. 
  Indian Naval pilot / observer course will commence in December 2013 at Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala.   

Eligibility criteria for Indian Navy's pilot/observer SSC officers posts

Applicants must be unmarried. Candidates applying for pilot and observer posts should be born between 02 January 1990 and 01st January 1995. One year age relaxation is provided by Indian Navy for Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders. Therefore, candidates with CPL should be born between 02 January 1989 and 01 January 1995.    In order to apply for Indian Navy's Executive branch pilots and observer officer jobs, candidates should have secured 70 percent in graduation with any discipline. Also candidates should have studied Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level.    For CPL holders educational qualification is slightly relaxed as all candidates having valid CPL license may apply even if they have secured 60 % marks in graduation.    Male candidates can apply for both pilot and observer SSC officer jobs in Indian Navy. Whereas, women graduates may apply for only observer posts.   Also candidates who have failed in PABT test earlier in SSB interview testing by any of the Services Selection Board cannot apply for pilot course of Indian Navy. But they may apply for observer course.   Height of male applicants should be more than 162.5 Cms and for women candidates, minimum height for applying SSC officer course is fixed as 152 Cms.    Eye sight of applicants must be 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6.    Also applicants should not have color blindness.  

Training of Indian Navy's pilots/observer SSC officers

Candidates who are selected as pilots in Indian Navy's executive branch will be trained at Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala and after orientation course, they will be trained in Air Force Academy for flying training. All candidates who completes successfully training at INAC / AFA, will be awarded wings and will be given Sub Lieutenant rank.    Officers of observer branch of Indian Navy will be given orientation training at Indian Naval Academy and further they will be sent to various Naval training establishments for professional training.  

How to apply and last date for Indian Navy's pilot/observer SSC officer posts

Candidates can apply through online for Indian Navy pilot and observer officer jobs. Indian Navy is accepting online applications from today i.e., 03rd April 2013 onward. Last date to apply for pilot or observer SSC officer course of Indian Navy is 17th April 2013.
