Indian Army has invited applications from women candidates of India for administrative branch officer posts. Through SSC Women entry course, Indian Army recruits women candidates as Short Service Commission officers who have to serve for ten years minimum and another four year extension may be granted if officer is suitable to continue. Thus, this option gives women freedom to shift their job after ten or fourteen years and settle down in private job and enjoy life with friends and family.

Army has received thousands of applications from women graduates. After last date, all applications were scrutinized and depending upon the academic marks, cut off marks of SSCW Non Tech 13 course was fixed. Candidates who have scored more than cut off marks will undergo SSB interview to get recommended and become officer.

Though SSB interview dates are not yet finally released, Army has officially published SSB center distribution list for all shortlisted candidates of SSCW 13 Non Tech course.
