Let us see what are the changes made in NDA exam eligibility criteria and whether it will be helpful for candidates or not.
Latest change in eligibility criteria of NDA & NA examination
Only one change has been made by UPSC in the eligibility criteria of NDA & NA examination. Earlier, age limit of NDA & NA exam was fixed as 16 1/2 years to 19 years of age as on course commencing date. As the upper age limit is set as 19 years as on course commencing date, actual upper age limit tends to be at 18 years to 18 1/2 years. So many candidates could not appear as they were too late to realize their goal.
Thus, UPSC has introduced change in upper age limit of NDA & NA examination. Upper age limit has been relaxed by six months. That is, now latest age limit of NDA & NA exam eligibility is set as 16 1/2 years to 19 1/2 years as on course commencing date.
