Indian territorial Army is not a continuous service. An officer will have to work for two to three months as per the requirement. Rest of the time, one will continue to do whatever he wants.

Eligibility criteria of Territorial Army 2014-15 officer posts

Applicant who wish to apply for Indian Territorial Army officer posts should be male Indian citizens. Applicants should have completed their graduation from recognised university of India. Applicants who want to become an officer in Indian Territorial Army may be anyone who is working in Central State governement / private company or unemployed. Age of the applicant should be from 18 to 42 years as on 31st December 2013.

Important dates of Territorial Army officer recruitment

Written examination of Indian territorial Army officer recruitment will be held on 09 February 2014. Last date to apply for the posts is 31st December 2013. Training will be given for one month which will be very basic in nature. From second year onwards, two months camp will be held yearly. Also three months post commissioning training will be given at IMA Dehradun within first two years.
