Query regarding how to calculate expected marks after writing NDA & NA exam for both Maths and GAT.

NDA & NA examination is the gateway for admission into National Defence Academy, Air Force Academy and Naval Academy. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is responsible for conducting this exam. All candidates who score more than cut off marks fixed by UPSC will be shortlisted to undergo SSB interviews.

Here we have provided procedure of calculating marks of NDA & NA exam. In order to evaluate score, one need to find a reliable NDA & NA answer key set. After finding a good answer key, count the questions which are correctly answered by you. Also calculate number of questions which have been answered wrongly. For each correct answer give 4 marks and for each wrong answer give -1.33 marks. Finally total the marks. Do the same procedure for Mathematics and General Ability Test papers of NDA & NA examination.

Here is an example.
Suppose I have attempted 50 questions of GAT. Out of 50 questions, I have marked 42 questions correctly and 8 questions wrongly. Thus, I will calculate my NDA & NA exam marks as (42 X 4 ) + (8 X -1.33) = 168-10.64 = 157.36.

Thus I have calculated marks scored by me in NDA & NA exam.
