Indian Air Force has issued notification for fast track selections in Delhi on 14th September 2013. Trough the fast track selection process, IAF will recruit commissioned officers for its flying and ground duty branches. Both men and women aspirants who wish to become officers in IAF may apply for the posts.
Eligibility criteria for IAF fast track selections in Delhi
Applicants who wish to participate in Indian Air Force's fast track selection must fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
Flying branch 13 SSC men and 42 SSC women course eligibility
Applicants should be 19 to 23 years of age as on 1 Jan 2014. Candidates with valid Commercial Pilot License do have two years of age relaxation. Applicants must be graduates in any discipline and also should have studied Maths and Physics at 10+2 level.
Ground Duty branches course no 135 GDOC, 28 SSC Men and 42 SSC Women eligibility criteria
Graduates of 20 to 23 years of age, LLB graduates of 20 to 26 years of age, post graduates of 20 to 25 years of age and M Ed / PhD / CA / ICWA graduates of 20 to 27 years of age may apply for the IAF's ground duty branch courses.
Procedure of selection
First of all, candidates need to register their names for IAF fast track selections at given venue. Registration will be open from 0800 Hrs to 1100 Hrs on 14th September 2013. All candidates who have registered their names will have to appear in AFCAT exam at the venue. Also results of AFCAT exam will be announced immediately after the completion of the exam. All candidates who are shortlisted in AFCAT exam will have to appear in SSB interviews
