JAG 13 notification of Indian Army


Indian Army has issued JAG 13 notification for all LLB law graduates. Judge Advocate General course is specially meant to recruit law graduates of India.

Eligibility criteria as per JAG 13 notification

Applicants who wish to apply for JAG 13 course should fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

Applicants should be Indian citizen. Age of JAG 13 applicants should be between 21 to 27 years as on 01 July 2014. Applicant must have passed LLB degree with minimum 55% aggregate. Also candidate should have the eligibility to register with Bar Council of India. Both men and women can apply for JAG 13 course of Indian Army.

Minimum height of male applicants is 157.5 Cms and women candidates is 152 Cms. There is five Cms relaxation in minimum height for candidates belong to hilly areas.

Applicants should not have eye sight more than 6/6 ad 6/18 distant sight. Also applicants should not have Myopia more than minus 3.5 including Astigmation.

So if you fulfill the above eligibility criteria, go on and apply for JAG 13 course.

There are total 10 vacancies available in JAG 13 course. Out of 10 vacancies, 07 are reserved for men and 03 are reserved for women.

All applications will be checked by the Army Headquarters and based on percentage of LLB, shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB interviews.

Thus, final selection for JAG 13 course will be done through SSBs.

JAG 13 course will commence in October 2014 at Officers Training Academy.

Last date to apply for JAG 13 applications is 14th February 2014.
