Hello.
I have cleared the AFCAT examination ( Technical Branch ) and my SSB interview is on 12th December.
I have type 1 diabetics. Am I eligible for the Air Force officer post and will there be any disqualification due to diabetics?

Dear Magendran,
candidates who are diagnosed with diabetics are not eligible to apply for Indian defence jobs i.e., Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard officers or other posts. As the Indian armed forces requires physical fitness for its soldiers, diabetics patients are not taken by the defence forces. Even though you pass the SSB interview, you will be disqualified during the medical examination.
Don't loose hope and try for other government jobs for which you are eligible to apply.
