1 PPDT picture for SSB practice Jen, 28 years old wife of martyred lieutenant Gaurav Arya is a single mom taking care of herself and the family .In the last days of the winter, Major gaurav Arya was a posted in the field area of Pampore. On 14 of Dec he received the intelligence of a terrorist Intruders approaching towards the regimental center. Analysing the situation lt. Gaurav immediately reported the same to the HQ and took charge of the current situation. He took his troop and went on for the hunt after crawling a distance of 250m he was very close to the inruders. The terrorist open fire on the battalion on the other hand lt took cover on the other side and ambushed them from the other side in this he was severaly injured. He neutralised 2 terrorist out of the three but in the the ambush he took heavy injury and was later killed in action. On seeing the courage of the lt. The 3 terrorist surrendered himself. Lt. Was recognized for the excellent work he has done in order to save the country. And was honoured with PVC. Jen his wife took him as his role model and while looking after the family she also joined army and recieved her husband's PVC on 15 of jan by the president in the olive green. Jen is leading his life on the path of his husband living a life full of confidence and adventure.
