She was practicing for the upcoming national level swimming competition. she practiced day and night. when the competition arrived she was fully prepared to swim towards the gold medal, and that's what happened. she finished first, receiving the gold medal. her victory was telecasted on the news as she made a new record that day, she became the first one ever from her state to grab gold. when she returned the roads were jam packed, as the whole town was there to welcome her.
