1 Ram was born in a poor family. He had 3sibblings and one sick mother with problem on land which his family was residing. He from his child hood understood the problem of proverty. He studied hard and besides that helped his father in doing turion in his village. His hard and persistent labour helped him in selecting tion of him in upsc and he was recruited as district collector in his district. Since he was from grass root level he knew the proverty, the condition of road, school, sanitary conditions, condition of existing phc in hometown. Being a district magistrate, he visited many govt office suddenly and looked after the progress of activities personally.
