AFCAT exam is held twice in a year and is held by Indian Air Force to shortlist candidates for SSB interview. All candidates who want to become officers in IAF through AFCAT entry must pass the exam and then pass SSB interview.
AFCAT exam is conducted for 100 questions and 300 marks. One mark is deducted for each wrong answer. So candidates need to keep the negative marking in mind while answering the AFCAT question paper. If you are not sure about the answer, simply leave it and proceed to next question. After answering all questions which you are sure about the answer, you can revisit the question and have a look at it once again. Don't waste time in answering lengthy or tricky questions. Leave them and solve them if time permits.
It will be better if you answer English, current affairs, general knowledge questions. After that you can concentrate on non verbal and verbal reasoning questions.
As verbal reasoning questions of AFCAT exam consume more time, solving them after remaining questions will reduce your time. Please use rough work sheet for solving AFCAT verbal reasoning questions.
