Indian Air Force recruits young Indian men and women as officers in various branches every year. IAF conducts AFCAT examination
to shortlist the candidates for further testing by Air Force Selection Boards.Recently
IAF has conducted AFCAT 01/2013
examination on 24 February 2013 all across India. Results of AFCAT 01/13
are expected to be announced on or after 08th March 2013.
As the question paper of AFCAT
was bit tougher than the previous question paper, cut off marks will be lower this time. Negative marking also plays a good amount of role in deciding the cut off. 149 marks was the cut off for AFCAT 02/2012.
So this time we are expecting cut off marks of AFCAT 01/2013 to be anywhere between 135 to 160. Candidates who are sure of scoring more than 160 marks need not to worry about the cut off.
So don't worry about the cut off as of now and start preparing for SSB interview
which is the essence of selection process.
